The museum comprises of different sections where visitors have the chance to see Indian stamps to obtain accurate information of the introduction and use of postal stamps in the country during the period of British rule. Some of these stamps have been released by India Post that depicts various thematic representations, fauna, flora and personalities of Gujarat. Gujarati personalities who have been immortalized in such stamps include Balvantrai Mehta, Indulal Yagnik, Sayajirao Gaekwad and so on. These antique stamps also contain pictures of certain temples and animals of Gujarat. The museum also reveals that Sorath was the first princely state in India that had started the use of postal stamps in the country.
